National Traveller Suicide Awareness Project (NTSAP) employs a community development approach to address the issue of Traveller suicide which is over six times higher for Traveller men compared to the general population.
The project acts as a resource to Traveller organisations and suicide related services raising awareness on the issue of suicide. It does this by promoting the development of initiatives which support suicide prevention, intervention and postvention in a coordinated way. This is done so with the goal of reducing the rate of attempted and completed suicide in the Traveller community. Tel: 01 872 1094 Exchange House
